Mother's Day was WONDERFUL! A day full of surprises...we started off at brunch at Baleen at the Grove Isle Resort and it was yummy: full sushi area, all the normal omelets and pastries etc, fruits, cheeses, desserts and champagne! 10:30am was a great time, as we sat outside under an awning, and any later would have been WAY TOO hot. It's been reaching 90 degrees here. We headed out around 12pm, drove about 20 feet, and Zach said, "well this is where you get out, you have a spa day! Massage and then a facial at Spa Terre" WOW. It was lovely! The spa's theme is Balinese, and the massage was great, except midway through I found myself singing along to one of the songs playing in the room...courtesy of "Little Einsteins" I have lyrics now for classical music. This particular classical song was a Bali-Remix of "I lost my baton, yes I lost my baton, have you seen the bald eagle who took my baton?" whatever classical song that is. Totally made me laugh though.
So much for a nice brunch....milk is waaayyy better.
The only picture I have of the two of us that day :(
