Princesses

So really quick, I have to say, I am shocked at how Isabella is changing! I don't know whether to :) or :(

Today is the first day that she has really really taken an interest in movies other than: Little Einsteins, Baby Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and her sign language dvds.

Thanks to mom, she has this floor-puzzle-mat with 8 squares, each square with a princess portrait. We play "which princess is...." and she eagerly points to the corresponding one...play a "amme" game. Doing really well, except for Mulan. She has taken a special interest in Cinderella, Jasmine and "a-rel" ariel. She brought me "The Little Mermaid" movie today. I just put it in, and she is sitting at attention completely absorbed. She got all excited about watching Ariel, threw me for a loop (I do have to fast forward through the scary Ursula parts...)

That's about it. We just finished cleaning the house, laundry, ironing, sweeping, etc. It sure is nice having help to dust :) oh, and to hold the vacuum cord.

We walked down to Bayside Mall this morning. Izzy woke up around 6am and never really fell back to sleep. So we were up and moving early. Good move, though, as we left here around 10am, did some window shopping at the outside mall (about 1.5 miles away?) and were home around 12:30. It started raining while we were at the mall which cooled things down temporarily, but wowsers, it is HOT now.

So I have tried and tried fruit slushies and popsicles, no no no, Isabella won't take them. She will suck on ice cubes (wrapped in paper towel for a handle) and she finally decided to TRY a chocolate popsicle. 7 licks later, she was done, but kinda messy and yummy nonetheless.
