Our a lazy Sunday morning began with Bella and I walking to La Provence (French Bakery up the street) to get some quiche and pastries for breakfast and then lots of indoor playing followed by naps by all. There was not a cloud in the sky and I actually felt kind of guilty for taking a nap...that thought passed quickly though as Isabella had been awake at 5am then up and down and up til 7am, so I welcomed my pillow around noon.
Our original plan was going to Key Biscayne's State Park to walk around and grab a bite at a park-run outdoor restaurant on the beach. This plan was foiled by three Florida cop cars blocking entrance to the State Park for who-knows-what reason. Hmph. So we turned around and grabbed some sushi at Sushi Siam and ended up finding this awesome outdoor playground! After fun on slides and pink cars, we tracked down a little gelato parlor and fueled up on Italian Sugar :) yummy!
